Akrapovic Evolution linkpipe for the BMW XM G09

This Akrapovic Evolution linkpipe(E-BM/T/16) in titanium for the BMW XM G09 is designed to increase the performance potential of the Akrapovič Slip-On Line exhaust system. It is constructed from high-grade lightweight titanium. The system is 18.2 kg (63.5%) lighter than the standard stock exhaust. The installation removes the stock OPFs or secondary set of catalytic converters on non-OPF vehicles.

When combined with the Slip-On Line (Titanium), it offers power and torque gains of 25.8 kW (35.0 hp) and 47.7 Nm, respectively, both at 5,150 rpm, when tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a BMW XM with an M exhaust system. A special X-connection allows gases from both sides of the engine to mix for an enhanced sporty sound. Its plug-and-play installation means no remapping is required. This part has been developed for use on closed-course competition circuits only.

Remapping the ECU is mandatory when installing the evolution linkpipe on an OPF equipped car.
